Summary of Position

To ensure the safety of our guests, contractors and employees while they are entering and exiting the parking ramp and parking lots, all while maintaining a high level of customer service.  Ensure the safety of vehicles while in ramp and lots.  Monitoring and controlling the movements of patrons, visitors, and contractors using various methods service is also a main component of the job.

Core Responsibilities

·         Provide a high level of service to patrons before, during, and after events. Our goal is to have 100% positive interaction with patrons; 

·         Monitor the access and egress of patrons in the parking ramp and surface parking lot;

·         Conduct routine surveillance rounds around the parking lots including the immediate perimeter;

·         Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned or as become evident;

·         Remain calm and professional in all situations;

·         Monitor assigned areas within the parking lots to ensure guest safety and compliance with building policy;

·         Remove trash, debris, and refuse.   Take trash materials to the proper location and dispose of it properly;

·         Greet, monitor and control the movements of patrons, visitors, employees and contractors;

·         Report pertinent safety, maintenance and personnel information to supervisor;

·         Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times;

·         Create documentation for all pertinent events and maintain daily log sheets;

·         Must be able to handle money, and create change in a fast paced environment;

Requirements of the Position:

·         High School Diploma or Equivalent;

·         Must be able to obtain New York State certification and be of good character;

·         Previous parking lot, cash handling and/or security experience is preferred;

·         Must be able to stand, sit, walk for extended and varying periods of time;

·         Must be able to walk stairs;

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.;

·         Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions;

·         Must be willing and able to respond to emergent situations;

·         Must be able to work irregular hours including weekends, overnight shifts, holidays and unscheduled and forced overtime shifts;

·         Must be able to work effectively with limited supervision at times.

POSITION: Team Member – The Healthy Scratch

The Healthy Scratch is a healthy quick service restaurant and Food Truck offering yogurt and smoothies, acai bowls, juice shots, fresh cold pressed juices, wraps, overnight oatmeal, other healthy grab-and-go food alternatives, and branded merchandise.

SUMARY:

The Team Member is responsible for setting and maintaining attractive product displays, making and serving products and supporting the company culture by providing high quality, courteous and friendly customer service to customers and team members. The successful candidate will a passion for the fresh food industry and high quality customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Execute high service standards and exceed guest expectations daily by providing immediate an undivided attention to every customer and adhering to company service, quality and cleanliness specification and food handling.

·         Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases, shelves and displays clean and well stocked, while continuously checking and ensuring freshness and quality of products.

·         Resolve guest conflict through service recovery and engage management when necessary.  

·         Operate equipment and serve product in a variety of areas including, smoothie, toast, coffee etc…

·         Stock and inventory Food Truck when applicable.

·         Maintain cleanliness and integrity of equipment including Food Truck.

·         Drive the Food Truck to and from scheduled locations (if applicable)

·         Follow all company cash handling procedures.

·         Follow and comply with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.  

·         Create an engaging and energetic environment where all staff works as a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Must be at least 18 years old

·         Clean driving record and ability and willingness to drive the Food Truck (preferred)

·         Perform duties which require bending & reaching

·         Follow uniform guidelines

·         Maintain a well groomed appearance

·         Ability to lift up to 40 pound produce cases

·         Remain calm and demonstrate a high level of organization and sense of urgency

·         Passion for locally grown and fresh products

·         Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

Facility Operations: Custodial/Housekeeping
Part Time Cleaners/Housekeeping - HARBORCENTER (Buffalo, NY)

These roles are responsible for ensuring timely completion of the custodial operations specific to the The Rinks at HARBORCENTER. Responsibilities include proper use and handling of cleaning products, chemicals, equipment as well as inventory control and quality assurance.

Detailed Description:

  • Ensures proper usage of supplies and equipment throughout the Arena.

  • Safely operates and maintains all types of cleaning machinery and equipment.

  • Ensures proper use of cleaning chemicals and agents. 

  • Conducts building inspections.

  • Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.

  • Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.

  • Removes trash from premises.

  • Completes daily work orders as scheduled.

  • Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas. Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.

  • As applicable, cleans restrooms, sweeps and mops floors. Refills all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap. Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors & counters. Empties/removes trash. Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to manager.

  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.

  • Other duties as required.

    Special Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in an upright standing position for long periods of time

  • Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain)

  • Walk and climb stairs.

Summary

Responsible for the overall operations for the back of the house and kitchen area of the restaurant including but not limited to purchasing of product, preparation, maintenance of quality standards, food standards, safety, sanitation and staff management.  You will be expected to provide the highest quality product for the unique dining experience where dishes are not timed by the kitchen but cooked and brought fresh to the table to facilitate the conversation and overall experience of our guests.

Core Responsibilities

·         Oversee all culinary operations while focusing on great quality food and running a profitable business

·         Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity when ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met

·         Manage staff including hiring decisions, training, and performance management

·         Work with restaurant mangers to plan and price menu items. Establish portion sizes and prepare standard recipe cards for all new menu items

·         Provide orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures and oversee training of new back of the house staff

·         Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations

·         Effectively manages/operates expo station to ensure food is to standard and executed timely

·         Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures including checking and maintaining proper food holding and refrigeration temperatures control points

·         Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurants recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards

·         Monitors all food production areas for safety and sanitation practices and procedures

·         Responsible for ordering food products according to predetermined product specifications and receiving in correct unit count and condition

·         Maintains DOH compliance and observes HAACP requirements at all times

·         Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs

·         Oversees and executes events both in house and externally to promote the restaurant and its profitability

·         Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

·         Bachelors Degree

·         5 Years Restaurant experience

·         3 Year Kitchen Management experience, previous CDC or Executive Chef experience preferred

·         Knowledge of BOH procedures for food & safety and sanitation

·         Experience in procuring and receiving product
