Media Services

The Media Services employees will play a key role in the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship, serving as liaisons between the Host Organizing Committee and local, national and international media to provide assistance in a timely, professional and satisfactory matter.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of credentials to IIHF Officials, Team Officials, Employees, NHL Personnel, Media and Photographers throughout the tournament.
  • Assist in overseeing the operations of the Media Center, Press Box and Mixed Zones before, during and after games.
  • Deliver in-game statistics to media members in the press box and media center following each period.
  • Must be professional, friendly, and courteous to assist all Host Organizing Committee/Buffalo Sabres/USA Hockey personnel, as well as local, national and international media throughout the World Junior Championship.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends. Times will vary between 7 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

·         Must be willing to assist other areas of operations if the situation arises
